Takara Jenny in flowered formal dress

Description

This is Takara Jenny or one of her many friends. She has long brown hair, parted on the left and waving slightly. Her hair is a little wiry and comb-able, and has a few fly-aways. She has blue eyes. She is wearing purple stud earrings and a ring on her right hand that I think are original. She was wearing this purple gown when I got her. It is tagged "Takara" (in Japanese) and I believe this is her original outfit. It is a little darker in color than what the photos show - I over-exposed the pictures a little. There is a darker purple underskirt that also deepend the color a little, but the top fabric isn't see-through. There is a light green bow and white flower where her pleated straps come together in front. The dress has a velcro closure. Her shoes were probably clear and sparkly when new, but the vinyl has darkened a little and they appear slightly yellowish. She has not been played with since arriving in my home. I don't believe she was played with before then, either. This doll is part of my personal collection. I will not undress the doll to check her for other marks or stains, but I didn't note any while handling and photographing her.
Jenny's arms and legs swing forward and back but not out to the sides. Her head does not tip, but it will turn. Her knees don't click, but they will bend and hold position. I believe she only has wires, not a knee mechanism, so too much bending might break the wires and make her legs floppy. Be aware of this so you do not expect her to function like Barbie. She is just over 11" tall and more slender than Barbie. She may fit in some contemporary Barbie clothes, but I don't know that for sure.
She has no box but will be shipped in a padded envelope to protect her. If you wish her shipped in a box for additional protection, I can do so, but please message me before paying as that may change the shipping cost. Shipping cost will depend on where you live. I will combine shipping if you purchase more than 1 item.
This doll has been in my non-smoking home for several years. I have 3 cats who do not bother the dolls, but cat hair is not only a fashion accessory in this house, it's often a condiment. I try to keep them away, but don't be surprised if one or more hairs decide to hop a ride.

I use USPS shipping with tracking to send your item(s). If the tracking says it arrived, it arrived. If it's not there, that's your problem. You are required by ebay to provide a safe place for delivery.
