    Description

    A very early I.L. Maduro tinted  postcard titled "Bottle Alley, Colon.".  From the research that we have done, this image appears to be one from a very early Maduro series, probably published in 1904.  The card seems to match exactly the description offered by Maduro authorities Karrrer & Wilde.   The image offered here certainly seems to be somewhat less common view of Bottle Alley than what is generally offered for sale.  The card is in excellent unposted condition.
